Some really nice Street Art here – I love the way the artist draws attention to an otherwise mundane area of the city, which is reflected in some of the photography showing people observing the area he’s “made 3d”.

Sun setting over Brooklyn Bridge

Sun setting over Brooklyn Bridge, originally uploaded by hazzus.

I recently stumbled upon this photo I took in 2006 when I was doing an internship over in New York – brings back some good memories.

I like the way the sun is framed by the three famous NYC bridges (the photo is taken from the JMZ train on the Williamsburg bridge) – bit of a fluke really, this wasn’t even done on a burst!

Old Cortina ad

Old Cortina ad, originally uploaded by hazzus.

This was an awesome little find on the side of the old cinema when I was back home in Lancaster – The billboard on the side has obviously been recently stripped of years of ads, and underneath it all is this Ford Cortina Mark III. A quick Google tells me this ad must have been from some time berween 1970 and 1976, so it could be as much as 39 years old. They must have used some pretty badass paste in the 70’s…

Bright on white

I’ve just got back from a great snowboarding trip to France, and more so than for a while, the neon is out in full swing out there…and it really looks great against the snow! I’ve always liked the little “boy racer” glow you get on the snow from boards with bright bases.

this dude would actually fit in pretty well again these days…
